Deitemeyer (L), president and CEO of Interstate Hotels & Resorts, signs a management agreement with Danny Wei, executive vice president of Shanghai Construction Group America (SCGA) , for a new hotel project in Los Angeles, the United States, Jan. 30, 2019. The new hotel, located in the city of Garden Grove, 60 km southeast of downtown Los Angeles, will be developed by SCGA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shanghai Construction Group (SCG) and headquartered in New York City. The construction work on the Le Meridien, designed with a modern twist, is expected to start in the third quarter of 2019 and the hotel to open at the end of 2021.
