Rio de Janeiro, Jan 3 (IANS) Gremio are close to securing Udinese striker Felipe Vizeu on a 12-month loan agreement, according to reports.
The 21-year-old has made just five appearances and is yet to score since joining the Italian Serie A club from Flamengo on a five-year deal reportedly worth $6.5 million, reports Xinhua news agency.
According to Globo Esporte, both clubs have agreed to terms, with the move now dependent on whether Vizeu accepts Gremio's salary term.
Vizeu is considered one of Brazil's brightest young strikers and scored four goals in eight matches for the country's U-20 team in 2017.
Gremio, who are coached by flamboyant former Brazil international winger Renato Gaucho, finished fifth in the 2018 Brazilian Serie A standings.
