Voltas’ Q2 consolidated net profit up over 12% on year

Mumbai, Nov 6 (IANS) Tata group company Voltas on Tuesday reported an on-year rise of more than 12 per cent in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30.

According to the company, net profit in the September quarter of the current fiscal year ending March rose to Rs 107 crore from Rs 95 crore in the year-ago period.

Income from operations rose 37 per cent to Rs 1,415 crore, against Rs 1,032 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
