Soundless Navratri for Ankitta Sharma

Mumbai, Oct 11 (IANS) Known for her television stint with shows like "Lajwanti" and "Yeh Vaada Raha", actress Ankitta Sharma is all set to groove this Navratri in a different way.

She will head to Viviana Mall here to sway on Garba beats and play Dandiya Raas with her fans. However, it won't be a run-of-the-mill Dandiya Raas event as the festivities will be celebrated in a responsible way.

The organisers have put together a soundless garba where garba enthusiasts will be provided with headphones and they can choose to groove on the songs available on various channels.

Excited about the concept, Ankitta said in a statement: "The thought of playing garba in a silent way immediately got me excited and I instantly decided to be a part of this. I was happy to learn the mall is organising such an event for the second consecutive time.

"I look forward to matching steps with my fans and at the same time contribute towards reducing the noise pollution level in the city"

She will visit the venue on Friday.
