Panchkula (Haryana), Sep 17 (IANS) A Class 11 student was fatally stabbed on Monday in a brawl between two groups of youths in Haryana's Panchkula city, adjoining Chandigarh, police said.
Vikas Kumar was stabbed in the chest by his attackers outside the Government Senior Secondary School in Sector 7 here following a tiff with the rival group's youths suspected to be from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the city.
A Class 10 student, Suraj, tried to save Vikas but was also stabbed in the hand. Both were rushed to the Sector 6 General Hospital where doctors declared Vikas dead.
The attackers fled after committing the crime, police said.
