Ranchi, Aug 31 (IANS) : Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Friday said the state was planning to set up a Shanghai-like tower -- second tallest building in the world -- in the state.
Das will be on China visit from September 2. "We will gather more informaton about the tower during my China visit," said Das.
About his China visit, he said the officials will study latest technology in China. "The study will give a boost to development of the state. We will hold meeting with the administration of Beijing and Shanghai and study how to run public administration," he said.
"China's food processing units use modern technology and we will study how it works because Jharkhand has a lot of potential for such units," Das said.
"The vegetables of Jharkhand are in demand in European countries. Our objective is to double the farmers' income by 2022," said Das.
