Mumbai, Aug 22 (IANS) Former Union Minister and Congress leader Gurudas Kamat, who died in a hospital in Delhi on Wednesday, will be cremated here on Thursday, a party official said here.
The body is expected to reach Mumbai on a Jet Airways flight and will be taken to his residence near Acharya Gardens in Chembur in north-east Mumbai.
It will be kept for public viewing for two hours from 8 to 10 a.m. on Thursday before being taken for the funeral.
Kamat, 63, passed away following a massive heart attack. He is survived by his wife Maharookh and a doctor son, Sunil.
