Civilian injured in grenade blast in J&K’s Pulwama succumbs

Srinagar, Aug 17 (IANS) A civilian injured in a grenade explosion in Pulwama district on Friday succumbed to his injuries, police said.

"Abdul Ahad, a civilian who was injured in a grenade explosion in Awantipora town, today (Friday) has succumbed to critical injuries," said a police officer.

Three civilians were injured in a grenade explosion on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, he said.

The police said militants hurled a grenade at the office of Superintendent of Police (SP) in Awantipora town. The grenade exploded outside the office, injuring three civilians.
