New Delhi, Aug 7 (IANS) Locations for 426 additional Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics and 300 School Clinics have been finalised, the Delhi government said on Tuesday.
During a review meeting on Mohalla Clinics, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was informed by the Health Department that currently 187 Mohalla Clinics are functional in the city.
Of the 426 locations, 177 were already handed over by the concerned land-owning departments and the rest 249 are ready to be handed over.
The work on these new Mohalla Clinics will be started soon, a statement from the Delhi government said.
In line with the Mohalla Clinics, the School Clinics will be started in government-run schools to improve the health and nutrition of the students. The land for 300 School Clinics has also been identified.
The School Clinics are under pipeline and the work on it will start soon, the statement added.
