Mumbai, Aug 1 (IANS) Reliance Infrastructure (RInfra) on Wednesday reported a year-on-year rise in its consolidated total income for the first quarter of 2018-19 to Rs 7,991 crore.
According to the company, the total income increased to Rs 7,991 crore from Rs 7,918 crore reported for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company's consolidated net profit during the quarter under review stood at Rs 272 crore ($40 million).
In addition, the firm's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) during Q1 stood at Rs 2,187 crore ($319 million)
Among the key highlights of the quarter, the company's EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) business had an order book of Rs 26,600 crore and won projects worth Rs 9,600 crore in Q1 FY19.
"Won prestigious Versova Bandra Sea link project worth Rs 7,000 crore," the company said in a statement.
"Won 3 out 5 packages of Mumbai Metro line 4 project worth Rs 1,585 crore. Won Kudankulam nuclear power project in Tamil Nadu worth Rs 1,080 crore."
In the road infrastructure segment, the company's revenue increased by 12 per cent to Rs 303 crore.
"Expect Delhi Agra and Pune Satara projects to be completed by FY19," the statement said.
Further, RInfra earned revenue worth Rs 74 crore in Q1 FY19 from its Mumbai Metro One project.
In arbitration awards, the company won the Delhi Metro arbitration award against DMRC worth Rs 5,300 crore including interest.
"Received Rs 306 crore as immediate interim relief. Hon'ble Delhi HC has directed DMRC to service entire debt of DAMEPL worth Rs 1,618 crore," the statement said.
"In addition, also won arbitration award worth Rs 460 crore for 2 roads and 1 power project."
