J&K officer arrested for alleged molestation

Jammu, Aug 1 (IANS) A revenue department officer in Jammu and Kashmir was arrested on Wednesday after a woman accused him of molesting her, police said.

The complaint was filed against a Naib Tehsildar in Khour police station of Jammu district.

"The complainant alleged that the officer molested her inside his office chamber on Monday when she visited him in connection with a case," an officer said. "After registering an FIR, police arrested the officer."
