Shimla, July 25 (IANS) An earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale hit Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, the weather office said. No loss of life or damage to property was reported.
"Tremors were felt for some seconds at 6.52 p.m.," an official at the Meteorological Office told IANS.
He said the epicentre was in Kangra district.
