Rishi wants to try standup comedy
Actor Rishi Khurana, who is seen in television show "Nimki Mukhiya", wants to do standup comedy.
"Standup comedy is something which needs a lot of talent. Artistes don't act but they perform. There are no retakes. When I first discovered standup comedy, I was a teenager in high school... I often wound up in front of the TV watching the various standup specials."
Rishi has earlier appeared in TV shows like "Saas Bina Sasural", "Bani - Ishq Da Kalma", "Choti Bahu" and "Adaalat".
He said: "I have been praised for my comic timing and spontaneous comebacks always in whatever shows I have done. I remember Vipulji, my producer from 'Saas Bina Sasural', was so keen that I do standup comedy that he always use to give me the mic in all our parties to do something, but that time I was more interested in only acting. Now I feel the time has come to try standup comedy.
"I am from the theatre background, so interacting with audience has never been a big deal with me. So I'm ready to let out my humorous side to tickle your funny bone."
