New Delhi, July 6 (IANS) The Delhi government will build a new hospital in Burari, it was announced on Friday, two days after the Supreme Court said that the Lt Governor's approval wasn't required for every decision taken by the council of ministers.
"Good news for Delhites, a new hospital will be built in Burari...," said Rupashree Nanda, a freelance journalist and the maker of Harvest of Hunger which has won the Best Investigative Film award.
"One important decision in a bundle of crucial decisions taken by the Aam Aadmi Party government in just two days after the landmark July 4 SC verdict," Nanda tweeted.
Confirming the news, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared her post which also mentions that the government has sanctioned Rs 265.80 crore for the project.
