ಅನುಷಾ ರೈ ನಾಯಕಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಯದ 'ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನ' ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರ ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲರಿಂದಲೂ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಗಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾವನ್ನ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರಿಗೆ, ಈ ಕಥೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ, ಇದನ್ನೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮಾಡಲು ಕೂಡ ಚಿಂತನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕ, ನಾಯಕಿ, ಪೋಷಕಪಾತ್ರಗಳು, ಹಾಡು, ಹಾಸ್ಯ, ಸಾಹಸ, ಸುಂದರ ತಾಣಗಳು ಇವೆಲ್ಲವು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಒಂದು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದುಂಟು. ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾವನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಹದಿನೈದು ನಿಮಿಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಬಹುದೆಂದು 'ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನ' ಎನ್ನುವ ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯುತ್ನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಗೆ ಪುಕ್ಕಲ ಪ್ರೇಮಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲು ಹೆದರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆಕೆ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳದೆ ದೂರದ ಊರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಬೆಳಸಿ, ಆತನ ಅಪ್ಪನ ಬಳಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಮದುವೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಈಕೆಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗಿಯು ಬೇರೆ ಜಾತಿಯವನನ್ನು ಮದುವೆ ಆದರೆ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆಂಬ ಅಣ್ಣನಿಗೆ ಚಿಂತೆ. ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಾರದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ದೂರು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಡೆ ಅಪ್ಪನ ಬಳಿ ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ತಡೆಯಲು ಗೆಳತಿಯ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡು ಉಪಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲೇ ಆಕೆ ನಿಗೂಢವಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಪೋಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಹುಡುಗನ ಅಪ್ಪನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅನುಮಾನ ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಪೇದೆಗಳು ಆಸ್ತಿ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಅಣ್ಣ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿರಬಹುದೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ಚರ್ಚ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ನಿವೇದನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಯಾರು, ಕಾರಣವಾದರೂ ಏನು? ಎಂಬುದರ ಸೆಸ್ಪನ್ಸ್, ಥ್ರಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಯು ಟ್ಯೂಬ್‍ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿ ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದು.
