New Delhi, June 27 (IANS) Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday said that teachers deserve respect from the society and stressed on imparting best education system for the students of the city.
Sisodia was attending a feedback session of the heads of schools and the teachers of Directorate of Education on their return from Finland after getting teacher training, which was held in March, along with Finland Ambassador to India Nina Vaskunlahti at the Delhi Secretariat.
He asked teachers to impart best education system for the students and said that the profession is very noble and that the teachers deserve respect from the society.
The school heads and teachers shared their suggestions and experience about their five-day trip.
The Deputy Chief Minister expressed his desire to incorporate the good practices observed by the teachers there and asked all the participants to give a write up which can be used as a reference for educators in future.
