New Delhi, June 20 (IANS) Actor Varun Dhawan saluted a security guard on a television show as a mark of respect for the man's bravery, dedication to duty and family.
In the next episode of Star Plus' show "Sabse Smart Kaun?", Varun and Alia Bhatt were seen opposite each other supporting a security guard's family and a school principal's family respectively, read a statement.
When the show proceeds, the guard says he isn't respected because of the profession he is in.
Inspired by his story and work, Varun dresses up in the guard's uniform and salutes him for his bravery, ability to support his family and for educating his children.
Varun said to the guard: "Our country is still progressing but we're definitely leading when it comes to using common sense. You've inspired me and it is because of you that we are safe today and are doing well. You (your effort of) educating your son is a live example. Today I salute you."

Sana Saeed experiments with comedy
Actress Sana Saeed is set to explore the comedy genre with "Comedy Circus". She is excited to experiment and knows it's a challenge.
"I am really excited to experiment by attempting comedy for the first time. I know it is going to be really challenging," Sana said in a statement.
She was kicked about the show when she was told about how different it would be and that it was going to make a comeback after 5 years.
"Having a good sense of humour is really important and making people laugh is a really challenging thing in today's world. I am really excited to be a part of the show and now that I am paired up with really talented partners, I am all set to win the show. I think I will be having a great time," added the "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" actress.
"Comedy Circus" will air on Sony Entertainment Television. Archana Puran Singh and Sohail Khan will take the judges' seat for the show, produced by Optimystix.

Actor Gaurav Sareen has a crush on Bollywood star Deepika Padukone. Meeting her is one of his dreams.
Gaurav plays the role of Radhey on Star Plus' "Krishna Chali London". In the ongoing track of the show, he is seen trying to woo his on-screen wife Krishna, played by Megha Chakraborty.
Talking on his real-life crush, Gaurav said in a statement: "I really admire Deepika as an actor and as a human being. She manages to look beautiful on screen in any given role. Just like my character Radhey who falls for his wife Krishna the moment he sees her, I had my love-at-first-sight moment with Deepika.
"Meeting her is my dream since I have watched all her movies right from her first 'Om Shanti Om', which is also one of my favourites. She has a strong and appealing personality and is always respectful towards others."
