Jammu, June 16 (IANS) Three women were killed on Saturday in a landslide in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district.
Police said a family of nomads was trapped in the landslide triggered by heavy rains in the Shasho Paddar forests.
"Eight people were trapped after the landslide hit a temporary shelter of a Bakarwal family. A rescue operation was immediately started and three women were declared dead by doctors," a police officer said.
