HMD Global unveils three new Nokia smartphonesMoscow, May 30 (IANS) Finnish company HMD Global that makes Nokia smartphones has refreshed the budget lineup by announcing Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1 here.

Offering access to the latest Google services such as the Google Assistant, the smartphones continue to deliver a pure, secure and up-to-date Android experience with Android One and Android Go, the company said in a statement late Tuesday.

"With our renewed portfolio, you can now enjoy a premium smartphone experience without paying a premium on the price," said Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global.

 

The new Nokia 5.1 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz MediaTek Helio P18 octa-core processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage.

The device sports 16MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front shooter for selfies.

Nokia 5.1 in two storage/RAM options will be available from July at a global average retail price of 189 Euros.

Nokia 3.1 comes with 5.2-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by MediaTek 6750.

The device sports 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.

Nokia 3.1 will be available in two storage/RAM options -- 2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB -- from June at a global average retail price of 139 Euros.

The new Nokia 2.1 comes with 5.5-inch HD screen and dual front-facing stereo speakers. It has 4,000mAh battery.

It sports 5MP front camera and 8MP rear camera with auto focus. It also comes with Android Oreo (Go edition).

Nokia 2.1 will be available from July 2018 at a global average retail price of $115.
