New Delhi, May 30 (IANS) An action packed series mixed with grit, pride, fear and patriotism of four future air warriors of India premiers on Discovery channel on June 4, it was announced here on Wednesday.
"Breaking Point: Indian Air Force Academy" captures the life of Mudit Tewari, Priya Sharma, Amogh Bhandralia and Kartik Thakur who are training at Air Force Academy Dundigul in Hyderabad -- an institution that has been instrumental in shaping future air warriors of India.
The 4-episode series will premiere every Monday starting June 4 at 9 p.m. and on Veer by Discovery, India's first dedicated military channel which is available on JIO TV and YouTube.
The new series gives a never before seen look into the training imparted at India's premier Air Force training institution.
The telecast of the series on the air force academy follows the successful premier of the series on Indian submariners earlier this year.
Speaking at the launch of the series, Air Vice Marshal S.P. Dharkar, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Training), said: "The series has emerged as the go-to series for all defence enthusiasts across the country.
"We are delighted to work with Discovery as we aim to inspire the youth of India to look at the Air Force as a career opportunity and inspire our countrymen, offering a never-seen-before insight into the life of an Air Force officer -- their journey from a cadet to a flying officer and the efforts they put in to flying the fighter jets and defend the nation when needed."
