Rome, May 16 (IANS/AKI) Italian authorities deported an alleged Egyptian extremist on national security grounds, the Interior Ministry said.
The 33-year-old student, who lived in the northeastern city of Udine, had recently shown "aggressive behaviour in the local community and signs of potential religious radicalisation", the Ministry said citing investigators.
The Egyptian was the 43rd suspected religious extremist to be expelled from Italy this year and the 280th since January 2015, the Ministry stated.
