New Delhi, May 10 (IANS) Delhi BJP senior leader Vijay Jolly on Thursday said that four unidentified persons on two motorbikes deflated his vehicle's tyre and attempted to loot him in south Delhi.
According to a complaint filed with the police, the incident occurred on Wednesday at around 6 p.m. when Jolly was going in his vehicle to Chanakyapuri to attend an event.
"At Mehrauli Badarpur (MB) road near Saket Metro Station, four miscreants on two bikes started chasing my SUV. One of them threw sharp nail-like objects that punctured a wheel of my vehicle," Jolly told IANS.
The BJP leader said it was a clear attempt to loot him.
"We have received a complaint by Vijay Jolly and are investigating the case. CCTV footages of busy MB road were examined to identify the accused riders," said a senior police officer.
Earlier also, Jolly was targeted by the notorious 'thak thak' gang when its members stole his laptop and bag after breaking into his car in Saket.
