Lucknow, May 10 (IANS) Four people were killed and 10 injured on Thursday when a truck hit a jeep full of pilgrims in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district, police said.
Due to the impact, the jeep was thrown off the road into a ditch.
According to the police, the accident took place at the Jamalpur Basuhi bridge due to the the driver of the truck falling asleep at the wheel.
Of the 10 injured, two were in critical condition.
The jeep was travelling to Mau.
