Gorgeous married women are... sporting in handloom traditional sari outfits dazzled the ramp with their catwalks at Hyderabad Srimathi Silk Mark 2018 grand finale held at Kalinga cultural hall, Banjara Hills. 5th Edition of Hyderabad Srimathi Silk Mark, Which is organized by the Silk Mark Organization of India, an Initiative of central silk board, Ministry of textiles, fascinated the audience.
Show witnessed various women professionals such as doctors, lawyers, employees and housewives actively sizzled the ramp in line with handloom Sari collections theme and in rhythm to the accompanying music at the show. Around 35 Finalists participated in the event, where eminent personalities from fashion industry selected the winners. The jury included Shravani Reddy, Poonam Tiwari.
Smt DR Rebeca (Winner),Smt. Nirupama (1stRunners-up), Smt Y Sailaja (2nd Runners-up) for Srimathi Silk Mark-2018 were selected on the basis of Awareness on Silks’ ‘Communication & Presentation Skills’ and ‘Overall Appearance’ in ‘Traditional Pure Silk Sarees’ by eminent Jury. Besides winning the Title Crown, the Winner and Runners-up and also Best Smile, Best Attire, Best Braid were honored.
According to Shri .Y Srinivasa Rao, Deputy Director, Central Silk Board, the show organized for specifically crafted and designed for married women who are brand ambassadors for Indian Culture & Traditional Values depicting the “glimpses of Indian silks spreading the awareness on pure silk and to encourage to wear Indian traditional attire.
