New Delhi, April 15 (IANS) It was a sunny Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 20.5 degrees Celsius, normal for season's average, the weather office said.

"It will be a mainly clear sky throughout the day," an India Meteorological Department official (IMD) said.

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 49 per cent.

Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 36.7 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 18.2 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
