12 killed in two separate accidents in UPAgra, April 10 (IANS) As many as 12 persons were killed in two separate road accidents in Uttar Pradesh's Agra district, police said.

Both the accidents took place on Monday evening, a police official said.

In the first incident, three persons on a motorbike rammed into a stationary truck on the Agra-Delhi Highway. All three died on the spot, he said.

 

In another accident, nine persons were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck in Khairagarh area here.

There were over 20 people in the vehicle according to the eye-witnesses, the official said.

Of the nine killed, six died on the spot while three succumbed to injuries in a hospital, he added.
