Refreshing to work with actors who improvise, says Richa

Mumbai, April 9 (IANS) Actress Richa Chadha, who has begun shooting for Anubhav Sinhas political satire titled "Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai" in Lucknow, says it is refreshing to work with artistes who improvise scenes.

The cast of 12 also includes Saurabh Shukla, Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak, Pavan Malhotra, Divya Dutta, Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Richa Chadha, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Cyrus Broacha, Prateik Babbar and Shriya Pilgaonkar.

"I am thrilled to be a part of such a stellar cast. It is so refreshing to work with actors who are improvising and making everything funnier in each passing scene. I love the character I am playing in this film. I wanted to do a comedy after 'Fukrey' and this is just right," Richa said in a statement.

Meghna Mishra thankful to Aamir Khan

Singer Meghna Mishra says she is thankful to superstar Aamir Khan for believing in her and for investing his time on her.

The 16-year-old singer, who lent her voice for songs in the film "Secret Superstar", lost out on a reality TV show at an age of 11. She didn't give up and worked hard on her skill, ultimately winning praise for her work in the film, which was backed by Aamir.

"It was difficult for me when I was not selected but I opted to work on my craft," Mishra said in a statement.

"It has been quite a journey and today when I look back at it -- from being rejected to have done 'Secret Superstar'... It feels surreal with me wanting to do better every time. I am thankful to Aamir sir for believing in me and investing his time and effort on me," she added.
