New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) It was a rainy Monday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 20.2 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
"The sky will remain cloudy with chances of rainfall and drizzle throughout the day within the National Capital Region. The rainfall in the morning recorded was 2 mm," an India Meteorological Department official (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 36.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 96 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 34 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
