Delhi government seeks regularisation of civic body workers

New Delhi, April 5 (IANS) Delhi Minister of Urban Development Satyendra Jain on Thursday sought regularisation of services of all sanitation workers of local bodies working on contract in the capital.

Jain wrote to Renu Sharma, Director of Local Bodies, instructing the commissioners of the three municipal corporations of Delhi to initiate the process.

The instructions came a day after the Delhi Assembly passed a resolution on the matter.
