New Delhi, March 14 (IANS) China-based handset manufacturer Coolpad Group on Wednesday appointed Nancy Zhang as its first Global Chief Intellectual Property Officer.
Zhang will help drive Coolpad's innovation in mobile technologies and counteract patent infringements.
"I am excited for the new position and new roles," Nancy Zhang, Global Chief Intellectual Property Officer, Coolpad, said in a statement.
Coolpad has always heavily invested in new technologies like 5G and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
"The appointment of Nancy Zhang as our first Global Chief Intellectual Property Officer indicates how seriously we take defending our innovations," said Jiang Chao, CEO, Coolpad Group.
