New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS) The Delhi Police on Tuesday arrested a person impersonating as a doctor in the orthopedic department of the premier All India Institute of Medical Sciences here.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South-East district) Romil Baaniya said a security guard at the hospital had caught a man, later identified as Ram Kishan Gupta, who was posing as a faculty member of the orthopedic department.
The accused told the police that he had completed his MBBS degree in 2000.
"He confessed to have impersonated to gain favour for the treatment of a relative," police said.
