Rs 18 lakh looted from three petrol pumps in Bihar

Patna, Feb 26 (IANS) Armed criminals on Monday looted over Rs 18 lakh from three petrol pumps in three districts of Bihar, police said.

District police official Satish Kumar said Rs 10 lakh was looted from a petrol pump near Dinars Bazaar in Rohtas, after the criminals fired and injured a girl as pump owner Dinesh Singh resisted their attempts to rob him.

In Darbhanga, Rs 4.5 lakh was taken away from a petrol pump in Kusheshwar Asthan whereas in Muzaffarpur, Rs 3.88 lakh was looted from a petrol pump in Sahebganj police station area.
