New Delhi, Feb 7 (IANS) Announcing its entry into the highly competitive B-High segment in India, automobile manufacturer Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Wednesday unveiled "Yaris", its most anticipated launch this year.
Equipped with technology features like roof-mounted air vents with ambient illumination, fuel saving calculator and power driver seat, the compact sedan also boats of safety features like seven airbags and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD).
The company said the vehicle would come with 1.5 L Dual VVT-i Gasoline Engine and 7-speed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) or 6-speed manual transmission.
While unveiling the vehicle at the pre-open event of the 14th Auto Expo, company's Managing Director Akito Tachibana said the vehicle which had made a splash across the world come to India with "unique features customised for the Indian market".
The "Auto Expo -- The Motor Show" 2018 is being held from February 9-14, 2018 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.
However, February 7-8 is reserved for the media and exhibitors.
