London, Jan 21 (IANS) Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil recorded the highest number of assists by any individual footballer in the English Premier League (EPL) since the 2013-14 season.

The German international has 48 assists to his name followed by Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen who has assisted 44 times.

Manchester City forward David Silva (42), Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas (41) and Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne (37) are in the third, fourth and fifth spot respectively.
