Los Angeles, Jan 19 (IANS) Actor Bradford Dillman, known for his work in "Compulsion" and "The Way We Were", is dead. He was 87.
Dillman died on Tuesday in Santa Barbara due to complications from pneumonia, his family spokesman Ted Gekis announced, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
The actor also played Robert Redford's best friend J.J. in "The Way We Were" in 1973. He also featured in the "The Enforcer" in 1976 and in "Sudden Impact" in 1983.
Survivors include his children Jeffrey, Pamela, Charlie, Christopher and Dinah and stepdaughter Georgia. He was married to Frieda Harding McIntosh (1956-1962) and to actress Suzy Parker from 1963 until her death in 2003.
