More than 2,000 developers from major technology firms submitted 65 new technology solutions during the Global Hackathon which took place September 29 through October 8, 2017. The company has selected four winners from the 65 submissions.

The Hackathon invited developers and startups to build intelligent working applications for more than one million Pitney Bowes clients as they identify and locate customers, communicate with them, collect payments and ship merchandise. The applications were judged based on their business potential, user experience, and technical complexity.

Algorithmia and Zoho, and many other organizations, created solutions in the areas of social Customer Relationship Management, Customer Support, Marketing, eCommerce and On-Demand Shipping.
