Los Angeles, Jan 17 (IANS) Actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been roped in as the lead actress in "Gemini Man", opposite actor Will Smith.
The action thriller, directed by Ang Lee, will go on floors next month, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
The film sees Smith playing two opposing roles: one of Henry, an aging assassin who wants to get out of the business, and that of his ultimate opponent, a clone who is 25 years younger and at the peak of his abilities that has been tasked to kill him.
Winstead will play an operative who works for the same company as Henry and has been ordered to keep a watch on him. However, she soon teams up with him.
Clive Owen is in talks to play one of the villains of the movie, the head of the cloning programme.
