Bengaluru, Jan 15 (IANS) Tech Mahindra is helping its clients migrate deep-learning workloads to new IBM 'POWER9' chips that are capable of empowering new-age businesses with high-performance computing, the company announced on Monday.
The adoption will strengthen Tech Mahindra's offerings around virtualisation and data centre transformation.

Our new solutions powered by POWER9 Systems will further fuel growth of our Hybrid Cloud initiatives," said Pritam Parvatkar, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Strategic Technology Relationships, Tech Mahindra.
Tech Mahindra clients who migrate to 'POWER9' system will be positioned to see performance gains that accelerate workloads such as deep learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
"Our collaboration with Tech Mahindra will facilitate rapid migrations to IBM Power Systems that will help clients build successful digital transformation initiatives in a multi-cloud world," added Steve Sibley, IBM Vice-President for Cognitive Systems.
