Siddiqui hails from Bihar and was residing in a Malviya Nagar hostel. He was attending coaching classes to prepare for engineering exams but came in contact with Deepak and Shahid due to his drug addiction.
Police arrested them on Tuesday from a hideout in Bakshi Park after a complainant identified them.
"A resident of Begumpur had complained to Malviya Nagar police about snatching of his mobile phone and cash in Begumpur area by three persons, later identified as Siddiqui, Deepak, and Shahid," Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baaniya said.
The accused allegedly admitted to involvement in snatchings.
They indulged in crime to buy drugs and committed snatchings under the influence of drugs, the officer added.
