Vietnam, Morocco agree to cement parliamentary cooperation

Hanoi, Dec 18 (IANS/MAP) The heads of the highest legislative bodies of Vietnam and Morocco agreed here on Monday to bolster all-round cooperation, especially parliamentary cooperation.

During their talks, Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and visiting President of the Moroccan House of Representatives Habib El Malki agreed to strengthen high-level delegation exchanges to enhance mutual understanding and trust.

The Vietnamese top legislator proposed that firms of the two countries join hands more closely in such fields as trade, finance, energy and tourism.

The two sides signed a cooperation agreement between Vietnam's National Assembly and Morocco's House of Representatives.
