Paris, Dec 15 (IANS) FIFA on Friday suspended the head of the Brazilian football federation Marco Polo Del Nero for 90 days over a breach of its rules.

FIFA ethics committee added that the decision bans Del Nero from any football-related activities during this period, starting immediately, reports Efe

"The duration of the ban may be extended for an additional period not exceeding 45 days. During this time, Mr Polo Del Nero is banned from all football activities at both national and international level. The ban comes into force immediately," the committee said in a statement on Friday.
