Dharamsala, Dec 10 (IANS) Sri Lanka's new captain Thisara Perera won the toss and opted to bowl against India in the first One-Day International (ODI) match at the HPCA Stadium here on Sunday.
For India, Rohit Sharma will also make his captaincy debut in the absence of Virat Kohli, who has been rested for the three ODIs and three Twenty Internationals against the Islanders.
Mumbai batsman Shreyas Iyer has been given his ODI debut.
