Los Angeles, Nov 27 (IANS) Actor John Boyega, who will revisit his character of Finn in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", says walking onto the sets of the upcoming film felt like visiting Disneyland.
"It's amazing. The fundamental thing is unity on a set like this. It's so massive, so many ideas, so many challenges... It's good to have unity of cast and crew who believe in the same vision of making a great movie and have a great time doing it.
"That's the fundamental goal, so if something goes wrong, there is a fixation on how to get around the obstacle. And that's something I enjoy on a 'Star Wars' set. When the people are solid, it's smooth," Boyega said in a statement.
Asked about walking onto a set like this, he said: "Totally immersed. Like a 12-year-old kid that goes to Disneyland, but Disneyland is on level 10. That's what it's like but then you have to do your job because you are part of it.
"I've tried to do fan stuff and be an actor in the film. I think I'm doing well so far with the balance, but it's crazy because there is so much going on. There are major sets on this one and practical effects again. They have outdone themselves with the sets they built. It makes me feel like I'm on another planet, which is good."
The film also stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o and Andy Serkis.
"Star Wars: The Last Jedi", written and directed by Rian Johnson, will release on December 15.
