New Delhi, Nov 10 (IANS) The rise in India's factory output slowed in September to 3.80 per cent from a growth of 4.46 per cent in August, official data showed on Friday.
However, on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the index edged higher by 3.80 per cent when compared to September 2016.
"The cumulative growth for the period April-September 2017 over the corresponding period of the previous year stands at 2.5 percent," the "Quick Estimates" of Index of Industrial Production (IIP) said.
