Guwahati, Nov 10 (IANS) West Bengal Finance Minister Amit Mitra on Friday said the Centre and the states have lost approximately Rs one lakh crore revenue in the first three months since the roll-out of GST.
"Rs 60,000 crore revenue has been lost by the central government and Rs 30,000 crore by the states. Almost Rs one lakh crore has been lost because of the unpreparedness of the Centre," Mitra told reporters here on the sidelines of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council meeting.
"Small and Medium Enterprises are suffering," Mitra said, adding that revenue in the last three months had also been affected.
