New Delhi, Nov 8 (ANS) India on Wednesday strongly condemned the missile attack on Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh on November 4.
"We strongly condemn the missile attack reportedly targeting the Riyadh airport," the External Affairs Ministry said in a statement.
"We are deeply concerned at any escalation of violence that threatens the safety and security of innocent people," it stated.
Yemen's Houthi rebels fired a long-range missile on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday night, according to Houthi-controlled Saba news agency.
The Saudi Government said the missile fell and exploded north of the airport causing no casualties.
"We also reiterate our commitment to fight against all forms of terrorism and violence," the External Affairs Ministry statement said.
