Turkish, Libyan PMs discuss developments of kidnapped Turks

Ankara, Nov 5 (IANS) Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim discussed the situation of three Turkish nationals kidnapped in Libya with his Libyan counterpart Fayez al-Serraj, the Press Office said.

According to a statement from Turkish Prime Ministry's Press Office, Yildirim during the telephonic conversation on Saturday said that Turkey expected the three Turkish citizens to be found "as soon as possible", Xinhua news agency reported.

"We are ready for granting any kind of assistance in this matter."

The Libyan Prime Minister on his part informed the developments and said that his government would use every means available to help rescue the Turkish workers.

An armed group kidnapped on Friday three Turkish and one Germany workers from a Turkish engineering and construction firm in Libya's southwestern Ubari region.
