The second training run for Moto2 returned expected results amid modified track conditions owing to rain, with the same drivers leading the race although recording slower times as compared to Thursday, reports Efe.
KTM rider Oliveira -- winner of the last race in Australia -- was the fastest in the morning and continued his form in the wet run later in the day, although he was overtaken by Spaniard Mark Marquez and Italian Lorenzo Baldassaari in the last lap of the afternoon run.
Oliveira led for most of the training, with Kalex riders Baldassari and Thomas Luthi hot on his heels.
Currently, Oliveira is leading the classification, ahead of Championship leader Franco Morbidelli and Luthi, followed by Takaaki Nakagami and Mattia Pasini, while Isaac Vinales grabbed the sixth place ahead of Marquez.
Meanwhile, rain is expected to continue throughout the weekend, marring training sessions and performances.
