Mumbai, Oct 27 (IANS) ICICI Bank Ltd on Friday reported a fall of Rs 1,044.08 crore in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2017, as compared to the previous corresponding period.
The bank's total income also suffered a fall of Rs 3,996.79 crore for the quarter ended September 30 as compared to the previous corresponding period.
In a regulatory filing with BSE, the bank said it closed the second quarter ending September 30 with a net profit of Rs 2,058.19 crore, down from Rs 3,102.27 crore posted for the quarter ended on September 30, 2016.
The bank had earned a total income of Rs 18,763.29 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, down from Rs 22,759.08 crore.
According to ICICI Bank, its gross and net non performing assets (NPA) net of write-offs as on September 30 stood at Rs 44,488.54 crore and Rs 24,129.78 crore.
The gross and net NPA as on September 30 stood at Rs 32,457.50 crore and Rs 16,482.52 crore.
