Infineon Technologies India will address e-mobility, smart LED lighting and security for a connected world at the Technology Landscape for Start-ups Conference at the Hyatt Regency on 26 October 2017. The event is jointly organized by the Electropreneur Park and India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) in support of ‘Make in India’ and Start-up India initiatives.

The Indian government aspires for a nation with 100 per cent electric vehicles (EVs) by 2030, and is formulating policies and regulations to achieve this goal. Infineon, providing high-performance semiconductors for automotive segment, will share the driving forces and regulations of vehicle electrification in India, along with introducing some common xEV architectures and recent trends in low Voltage xEV including systems solutions on Inverter and DCDC and 2-wheeler EV concept and execution. Infineon provides reference design solutions which can be used to reduce turnaround time and facilitate faster product development for automotive applications like powertrain, safety, body and body applications, among others. Start-ups will gain a better understanding of components available that can be the base for applications designed for electric vehicles.

“We bring to India our global practical knowledge of product planning and development. Infineon aims to support the local start-up community in technical development and help them connect with potential customers basis value proposition of existing projects,” said Mr Rohit Girdhar, VP, Head of Strategy and Market Development, Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific.

In support of the incubator initiatives led by IESA, Infineon will also share with start-ups the design trends in smart LED street lighting and give recommendations on end-to-end embedded security solutions for necessary protection systems in upcoming IoT and smart city products.
